I haven't spent much time in the park other than for that weekend, which is a shame because it's actually a really nice place. And although I'm not really interested in stately homes and whatnot, Hylands House looked great in the winter sun.
Some of the parts were busy with families and dogwalkers but other parts were deserted. And it's a big place - apart from walking through the tunnel under the A414, I didn't leave the park at all.
